Alberto Rigoni
Nato nel 1981, Alberto Rigoni è un bassista, compositore e produttore italiano, noto a livello internazionale per la sua carriera come artista solista e come membro della band metal Bad As, The Italians, Natural Born Machines Lady & The Bass, co-produttore del Vivaldi Metal Project e membro della band progressive rock TwinSpirits (non più attiva).
Tra il 2008 e il 2022 Alberto ha pubblicato in tutto il mondo 11 album da solista (Something Different, Rebirth, Three Wise Monkeys, Overloaded, Bassorama, Duality, EvoRevolution, Prog Injection, Odd Times, For the Love of Bass, Songs for Souls, Grains of Sands), spaziando dal progressive rock metal alla fusion. Nei suoi album hanno partecipato anche musicisti leggendari come Jeff Scott Soto (Journey, Sons of Apollo, ecc.), Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater), Kevin Moore (ex Dream Theater), Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree, King Crimson), Marco Minnemann (the Aristocrats), Göran Edman (ex Yngwie Malmsteen), Michael Manring, Nathan East, Leland Sklar e molti altri.
Alberto è apparso sulla copertina di riviste come Bass Magazine (Giappone), Bass Musician Magazine (USA), Bajos Y Bajistas (Spagna), Basistas (Polonia), TOP BASS (Polonia). Inoltre, nel marzo 2015 la prestigiosa rivista Bass Guitar Magazine (UK) ha pubblicato l’antologia di CD di Alberto intitolata “Into THE BASS”.
Nel 2016 ha fondato una nuova band metal chiamata Badass (ora Bad As) con cui ha pubblicato tre album (More Pain More Gain, Midnight Curse e Crucified Society, il quarto album uscirà nell’autunno del 2023 (TBA).
Nel 2019 ha fondato una nuova band AOR chiamata “Natural Born Machine” con il famoso cantante dei Pink Cream 69 David Readman. Il loro album di debutto “Human” è stato pubblicato il 19 febbraio 2021 da Pride and Joy Music.
Alberto ha anche registrato per diversi artisti internazionali come la cantante pop italiana Alexia e produttori come Hiro Furuya (Elton John, Eric Clapton, ecc.) e suona il basso per la cantante e cantautrice rock canadese Kim Bingham (ex-Nelly Furtado) e The Italians.
Alberto ha suonato dal vivo con le sue band o come solista in Europa condividendo i palchi con artisti come Alan Parson, Suzanne Vega, Jørn Lande, Paul Gilbert, Vinnie Moore e altri.
