The Dead Daisies, entrano in una nuova era virtuale con ‘Radiance’

Il Metaverso è arrivato, e con esso una nuova frontiera per i musicisti di tutto il mondo per raggiungere nuovi fan e trovare nuovo pubblico. A tal fine, i The Dead Daisies hanno creato un meta-cinema (video) per ‘Radiance’. La progenie digitale della band, The Meta Daisies, insieme alla loro custode Daisy, vi darà un assaggio delle cose che verranno.
Il video inizia in una città deserta e una luce ipnotica cattura l’occhio di Daisy, che viaggia nel tempo fino a una foresta oscura e scopre un castello con un tunnel segreto che conduce a un caveau sotterraneo. Affascinata da un piccolo carillon rosso, Daisy, lo apre e libera una sfera luminosa che segue nel mondo sotterraneo. Dopo aver tenuto banco, Daisy assiste all’esibizione della band, dopodiché entra in contatto con un angelo che provoca un’epica esplosione che la spinge a risalire verso la città, dove si unisce alla sfera di energia e ascende alla meta dimensione successiva.
‘Radiance’ è il primo singolo del nuovo album dei The Dead Daisies, in uscita ad Agosto. La band ha scritto e registrato negli ultimi due mesi a Los Angeles con lo stimato produttore Ben Grosse nei Mix Room Studios. Un’apertura fragorosa dà il via a ‘Radiance’, un brano rock eclettico e pesante. Il riff scava in profondità in un’atmosfera anni ’70 originariamente scritta nell’industrioso cuore dell’Inghilterra. Con la voce potente di Glenn Hughes, che sovrasta la tempesta musicale fornita dalle chitarre gemelle di Doug Aldrich e David Lowy e dalla batteria tonante di Brian Tichy.
Il 3 giugno i Daisies arrivano in Europa per l’estate, dove calcheranno i palchi insieme a Judas Priest, Foreigner e Whitesnake, oltre a partecipare ad ambiti festival come il Graspop (Belgio), l’Hellfest e il God Save The Kouign Fest (Francia), il Masters Of Rock Festival (Repubblica Ceca) e il Time To Rock Festival (Svezia), oltre a una serie di show da headliner.
Il batterista Brian Tichy (Whitesnake, Foreigner) è tornato nei Daisies e si è unito a Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple, Black Country Communion), Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio) e David Lowy (MINK, Red Phoenix).
