Il mondo del metal piange Paul O’Neill

Un altro pesantissimo lutto ha colpito in queste ore il mondo del metal. Ha infatti perso la sua battaglia contro una lunga malattia all’età di 61 anni Paul O’Neill, produttore e compositore statunitense già all’opera con Aerosmith, Metal Church e Badlands anche se, il suo nome, rimarrà per sempre legato a quello dei Savatage e del progetto Trans-Siberian Orchestra, nato proprio dalla sua mente in collaborazione con Jon Oliva e Robert Kinkel.

E proprio la Trans-Siberian Orchestra, attraverso il suo organo ufficiale, ne ha dato notizia del decesso. Questo il comunicato:

“The entire Trans-Siberian Orchestra family, past and present, is heartbroken to share the devastating news that Paul O’Neill has passed away from chronic illness.
He was our friend and our leader — a truly creative spirit and an altruistic soul. This is a profound and indescribable loss for us all.
We ask that you respect Paul’s family’s privacy now.
We will make additional announcements shortly”.
